BEWARE OF SCAM
The Association have been approached by a number of tenants seeking property in London. It appears that a landlady who calls herself Miss Edmonds says she is a member of Gateshead Private Landlords Association.
She then asks them to transfer money into a bank account and then arrangements will be made for viewings.
This matter has been reported to the Police
This lady is NOT a member of the Association and never has been. Nor would the Association condone such practices.
